Jacob and Emma have always been creatively minded. They were friends way back in middle school when Jacob and his friend Austin would put together elaborate short films- often co-starring Emma. There was a time or two they even played young lovers! It seems that the films of the past were prophecies of the future, because the two ended up getting married for real in 2024!

Their story (filled with invisible arrows, canyons in New Mexico, a decent bit of bickering, and the Church of Christ) has given them insight into what it means to tell a good romance, and they decided to start wedding photography/videography company so that they could help others tell their stories.

When it came time to settle on a name, there was only one real option: Merlin. That’s the name belonging to their little Australian shepherd- who has more energy than his size ought to allow. He’s got a bit of a mischievous magic in him, so it was a perfect fit. He became the mascot for Merlin Media Productions, a company trying to inject a little bit of that magic into the stories of ordinary people.
